Grace is a 2.5yr old shar pei x  who is currently in foster care.  She is a sweet girl who bonds quickly to her person.

While in foster she has lived with cats after a slow gentle introduction and been a good girl.  She is also good with dogs after a correct introduction.  She would do well with a confident, chilled male dog to help her know that ‘everything is okay’.

Grace has unfortunately been moved a few times so is a little worried by new things initially but once she feels safe, she settles quickly.

She has the pei instinct to ‘guard’ her person which means she alerts and barks to strangers coming into the home, she will need ongoing help and training with this.   Also because of this, she is not suitable to a home with small children as they can become frightened of her.  Young teens are absolutely fine, she loves them.

Once settled she is a happy little girl who just wants to follow you around and be with you. She loves her toys and selects which ones she wants to take to bed.  She is crate trained.   Grace is used to people working so okay for full time workers as long as she gets the attention she needs when home.
