Akira was handed to a vet in a very poor condition.    We believe that at some time she has possibly been hit by a car,  but after some TLC and good food she is feeling much better and is on the lookout for her forever home.     Her injuries have healed, but they have left her with some ongoing issues due to a broken tail.

Akira may also require some additional care in the colder weather and as she gets older but these will only be supplements and medication to help with the aches and pains.

Akira is a very affectionate girl with her people and loves a good nose rub, but is selective with the cats in her foster home, fantastic with all of the kittens and takes on the role of mamma.

She doesn’t mind the dog in her foster home however so with careful introductions she could warm up to a canine companion
