Meet Monty—a striking black beauty with a heart as warm as his soulful puppy-dog eyes suggest.

Playful and affectionate, he’s a big softie who loves being close to his people. He’s all about cuddles, tummy rubs, and sneaking onto the bed if given the chance, though he’s just as content relaxing in his own space and can be left alone without any fuss.

Monty’s expressive personality shines through, and he’s not shy about asking for more attention. Once comfortable, he’s friendly and eager to meet new people—especially if games or pats are involved. He enjoys his walks, loves the outdoors, and is perfectly happy soaking up sunshine. Well-trained and respectful of boundaries, he even makes a great little guard dog.

While he gets along with small to medium-sized dogs, Monty would truly thrive as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love. Currently living with Chihuahuas, he’s still figuring out how to play with them but gives it his best shot.
